Happy Birthday (aka “Come On Eileen”)….

Guess who turns 21 today….again?  That’s right, cats and kittens, it’s one of my very best friends ever, Karl!  Today is his birthday so please leave him a message here wishing him all the love, health, wealth and blow jobs that one man can ever have!  Yanno, it will be like we are all signing one great big Birthday Card!

I love Karl to pieces, even when were both in one of our moody phases.  I think it’s because we understand each other so well that we know it’s never personal….just that time of the month or whatever ;).  I’m always amused by the amount of women that have a crush on him because to me, he is just like a brother….but maybe that’s because I’ve known him for six years now and we’ve never felt "that way" about each other.  In fact, Karl was around when I met my husband, got engaged, got married….he’s seen it all!

Some of the best times that I’ve had with him were the various visits to my humble abode here in sunny Southern California.  We went to Disneyland twice together, each time more interesting than the next.  Apparently I shocked him by saying "holy schmoley" the first time and then there was that little incident with the vomitous maximus the next!  But we still had fun, as we always do.  We’re the kind of friends that are content out and about, meeting up with other friends or just sitting around my house watching tv, blogging and/or talking shit.  It’s like that on the phone too….we start off with the really deep shit and then wow, our conversations frenetically bounce from one subject to another to another, anywhere in the range of super frivolous to somewhat important.

Mostly, I love Karl because he is a decent man.  He’s not a liar….if you were to be with him, he would not cheat on you.  As a friend, he accepts my flaws and still tells me that I am beautiful.  He has the coffee ready for you when you get up in the morning! And he allows me to rudely text message when I am with him, even though he hates it!

Karl and I will always be tight no matter the distance, time, or moods we are in each month.  Karl, I love you…..Happy Birthday!
