Tempation Tuesday!

I just realized that with all of the radio shows I’ve been doing lately, my cat’s definitely come out of the bag, so to speak.  That’s right, my friends…I’ve pretty much outed myself with regard to my celebrity crush(es).  I had hoped beyond hope to never talk about such things in the realm of the People’s Republic of Blogistan because I don’t want to become known as having love for one really fucking hot person over all the rest.  Unfortunately, it’s totally true…le sigh.

It’s time that you know who my main man is…my celebrity squeeze. if you will.  It’s none other than the amusing, talented, sweet and "oh so easy on the eyes" Ryan Reynolds.  I’ve loved him since way before it was even cool to love him….think back to those dudes, that chick and the pizza place.  It’s the fact that he’s both extremely funny and extremely hot that makes me swoon.

I think that in the interest of full disclosure, I should tell you who I’d go totally gay for.  I mean, let’s get real, it wouldn’t take that much.  She’s the quintessential "hotness" as far as I am concerned.  She can be cutesy cute. she can be beautiful, but when I see her, I always think of that bad-assed slayer with a dark side.  Oh yes, I’d turn lesbo for Eliza Dushku without hesitation!

    I’d never seen Ryan Reynolds in anything before Definitely Maybe, but he is indeed quite the hottie.

    My boyfriend and I are allowed three “free” people. The only one of mine who is an actor is Matthew McConaughey. (The other two are Adam Levine of Maroon 5–he owns a Golden Retriever and a Prius!–and Conor Jackson, who plays first base for the Diamondbacks.)

    hmmm… Ok, I have a thing for slightly older, TALLER men. If I’m going to have a fantasy, it’s going to include him carrying me to bed, dammit! (Something that will never, ever, ever happen. *sigh* I can carry Mr. Savy though… somehow that just isn’t the same.)

    Well, I’ve said before Hugh Jackman. Totally went for the Aragorn (Viggo) character too (I like them brooding apparently.) I didn’t like Brad Pitt until Troy… umm… I even had a thing for Liam Neeson for a while. The thing is, I like the visuals and all - but for me to have a crush I need a story. I need depth. Depth of character IS the hottest thing imaginable.

    For me, personally, I crush on lots of actresses and singers. It changes pretty regularly. I’m still crushing on Sara Bareilles and Joss Stone right now, though. But, as for guys, it has been and probably will be for some time Chris Isaak. He’s a good lookin’ guy. And he can sing.

    the rock is topping my list of celebrity crushes these days. as is tim allen (shut up, he is wicked funny and adorable), kurt russell, the new blonde bond daniel craig, your boy ryan reynolds and i’ll be honest here, even ben affleck (although i never liked him until he turned 30…damn, i’m getting old!).

    This week I’m all about John Stamos (did you see that hot scene on ER last week?) and Andy Roddick. This changes daily.

    For women I’m all about Brooke White from AI right now. Mostly because she reminds me of a girl I could have married about 12 years ago.     An unfortunate side-effect of the aging process is that your celebrity crushes tend to get old and die.

    Carl Sagan is my ultimate crush. Since he died from cancer in 1996, my alternate would be Michio Kaku.

    I’ve never really considered a female crush, but if I had to choose, I’d say Dame Jane Goodall.
