Before I get started today, I guess I should point out that I am highly aware of the fact that I don’t talk about *all* of the shows on any given night, only the ones that interest me. At first I felt bad about that but then I remembered that I asked other people to contribute so I wouldn’t have to feel bad! With that said, I hope that any one of you readers or authors feels free to chime in and comment or post about the shows I just gloss over.

Hilly’s Faves: To be honest, this is probably my favorite night of television although I watch considerably less on Wednesday than other nights.  “Why”, you ask?  Well simple…Pushing Daisies is my favorite show on television, end of story.  I love the characters, the plots, the colors, and mostly the way I feel after sitting down and swooning over this show for just under an hour.  Also, although it has been a bit hit and miss, Private Practice is another one of those shows that just makes me giddy when I am watching it.  Addison was always one of my favorite Grey’s Anatomy characters and even tough she’s a bit different in a California setting, it works for her.  Besides, Tim Daly…enough said.  I’m also really glad to see Dirty Sexy Money back in action.  I was just getting used to liking it when the writers’ strike happened so it will be good to see where they go next.  Besides, Peter Krause…enough said.  Yeah, that’s pretty much it for me and Wednesday nights.  Okay fine…I kinda sorta watch Lipstick Jungle too, even if I am embarrassed to admit it.

New Shows: Erm uh, well…Gary Unmarried might be cool because it has Jay Mohr in it.  However, I’m a little worked up by the thought that Jay won’t be on Ghost Whisperer quite as much because of his new series, so I may have to boycott just to get his show canceled.  Yes, I have that much power.  Moving along to Do Not Disturb…this show carries a cast that I love: Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Niecy Nash, Jerry O’Connell and others.  And then, there’s that whole Upstairs/Downstairs vibe that makes it sort of interesting.  However, and this is a big however, I am not sure I am liking where they’re going with the whole “too fat to be seen” angle.  Also?  Sitcoms rarely hold my interest unless they’re on CBS.  I can neither give this show the thumbs up or thumbs down.  I may watch it and then go from there.

Trailers: I know that I’ve failed to mention anything about Knight Rider.  That was sort of done on purpose.  I don’t know much about the new series except that I found it amusing when KITT asked Michael if he was a homosexual in the movie last spring.  That’s pretty much the only thing I found amusing.  However, here is a small clip for you:

Stylista is another one of those shows that I am unsure of.  I like the idea of the different contestants personalities yet loathe everything the woman Anne Slowey stands for.

Hrm, I guess I had more to say about Wednesday than I thought I did!  Good thing, since that’s my job.
